Congratulations to Rupshana Ali (pictured left) who was presented with a hidden gem award  by Anne Sheridan, Borough Director for Kensington and Chelsea (pictured right).

Rupshana works as a health care assistant in the North Kensington and Chelsea Community Mental Health Team, and previously worked as one of the teams receptionist.

Rupshana was nominated by a service user, who wrote:

“Shana does her work emphatic to this and immaculately. She gets back to me when others failed to and always remembers my name, even my DOB… I have been through hell and have been suicidal at times. Without Shana working at the centre I would probably have lost all hope.”

Her colleagues were delighted when they heard that Rupshana had won the hidden gem award. They described Shana to have “a warm and welcoming manner  and she goes the extra mile. Rupshana is a great asset to the team, and constantly works towards the trust’s core values”.
