CNWL has two posts available for BAME staff on the new Leadership Ladder Programme, a pilot across North West London which offers clinical and non-clinical Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) staff in Bands 8a to 8c the opportunity to work in two different shadow management roles over 12 months. The two roles for the Trust will be based in CNWL.

This full funded initiative supports an ongoing programme of work aimed at building more inclusive organisational cultures. It aligns to the NHS Workforce Race Equality Standard (WRES) 2020 challenge to build a more inclusive, diverse population of leaders across our NHS. Other Trusts in the region will have two places for their staff too.

There will be opportunities through the programme to:

  • Learn how to build your executive brand and navigate promotion and development
  • Understand how to increase your influence, personal impact and strategic insight
  • Develop your leadership skills and enhance your system-oversight and decision-making

Read more about the programme here.

At the end of the programme candidates will have the opportunity to pursue further career development options, for example - competitively applying to positions that utilise their new skills within the NW London Integrated Care System (ICS - of which CNWL is part).
