At the beginning of LGBT+ History Month the One Community family came together to start the celebrations by sharing the work LGBT+ people past and present have done and continue to do for LGBT+ equality in the UK.

Today One Community radio is proud to be celebrating LGBT+ History Month again with our LGBT+ staff members, patients and allies.

Today One Community will be joined by Pride@CNWL (CNWL’s LGBT+ staff network) Co-Chairs, Chris Wilson and Sofia Venuti. Together they will be sharing the events of this year’s LGBT+ History Month, the future plans for Pride@CNWL and top tips for allies. Following this, Employment Specialist Nikolaos Galanis will be answering questions from the audience about all things LGBT+.

Our Special Guest is the Worshipful Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, Councillor Gerard Hargreaves. He will be answering questions from our audience and covering topics from forming Allies, LGBT+ History and our wonderful One Community.

As always, our fantastic regular guests will be joining in, Evvy Miller reading Life of Pi, Laura Cavill our Poet Laureate with her own composition and writer Stewart Permutt will be reading a poem of his choice.
