It was International Women's day on Monday, so this week on One Community Radio we will be celebrating the inspiring women from our CNWL family. 

We're staring today's show with a message from Kim Cox, Jameson Director of Nursing and Cassie Ballison, Ward Manager on Shannon Ward, together they'll discuss the latest CNWL Women’s Network updates. 

Susan Bray, CNWL's Safeguarding Lead and Holly Thomas, Domestic Abuse Coordinator will be joining Cate in a discussion on Domestic Abuse. 

One Community launched a ground breaking project on Shannon Ward called ‘Beautiful People’. To talk about this one of a kind project, lead make-up professional Tash Devedlaka and Shannon Ward Staff, Cassie, Aroosa and the nursing team as well as the voices of the patients who make up this group will talk about what it is and the impact on self-esteem.

As always, our lovely regular guests will be joining in, Evvy Miller reading Life of Pi, Laura Cavill our Poet Laureate with her own composition and writer Stewart Permutt will be reading a poem of his choice.
