Margaret Pyke Trust (MPT), a CNWL partner has announced a new project benefitting human and environmental health to take place in south western Uganda.
To ensure healthy wetlands for the people and Endangered Grey Crowned Cranes of Uganda’s Rukiga District, MPT, and their partners are working to provide alternative sustainable livelihoods, and family planning information and services, as requested by local women and men. By combining this work with wetland restoration and other conservation actions, the project can enable long-term health for both the wetlands and the people that rely on them for their water, food, and livelihoods.
