Today you’ll hear Happy Birthday NHS, in reality that translates as a thank you, to each and every member of NHS staff. The NHS only exists because of the people who devote their time to it, treasure it and champion it.

If you are an NHS staff member or know one, let them know, Happy Birthday is just a one great big thank you.

This birthday, Christopher Bennett from TMB Art Metal, is helping us say thanks to our wonderful CNWL staff through a donation of 700 NHS ‘Thank you’ pins.

Christopher Bennett says:

“During the Covid-19 period I was moved by the selfless work the NHS’s personnel performed on our behalf. In 2022 I decided to do something to say “Thank You” to these selfless people, whilst also raising funds for the NHS. During the pandemic clapping hands became a national symbol of gratitude to the NHS, and I thought a lapel pin in such a form would make an appropriate design for a “Thank You” fund raising pin.”

“These few NHS “Thank You” Pins remain from that project. Please take one, wear it, gift it to a friend, or a member of hospital staff to say “thank you” – but in reciprocation please kindly make a suitable donation to this fantastic trust’s charity.”
