We wanted to say thank you to the relatives of our staff members who have been working in response to the Coronavirus outbreak.
Claire Murdoch, Chief Executive wrote a personal thank you message to our staff members sharing her appreciation for their hard work and dedication.
Part of the thank you card reads:
“I’m writing to thank you for ‘loaning’ the NHS and CNWL your family member (and we have asked them to give this to you). They are heroes and their work is absolutely invaluable for hundreds of very vulnerable people; vital in fact to defeating Covid-19. And it’s tough but we feel we are winning.
The whole country applauded them every Thursday and I bet you all joined in too but today we’re applauding you, with our thanks.”
