CNWL’s Prof Henrietta Bowden-Jones OBE will be delivering a talk on gambling next week as she joins The Advocacy Project for its April health inequalities lecture and discussion: Hidden addiction: the problem with gambling.

Prof Bowden-Jones, who set up The National Problem Gambling Clinic and specialises in the field of addiction, will be looking at the health effects of gambling and the problems it can cause for families and wider communities.

The wider discussion will be chaired by Cllr Ketan Sheth, chair of Brent's Community and Wellbeing Scrutiny Committee who will be joined by pupils from Newman Catholic College, Harlesden.

The free talk will be held on Zoom on 26 April. Please join at 12.20pm for a 12.30pm start. The discussion ends at 1.30pm.
