Ceylon Dell who is a Senior Practitioner and also part of the Chief Nurse fellowship programme at CNWL, has had her letter published in the International Journal of Nursing Knowledge

Her letter, which is linked to her Chief Nursing project, is a response to another article recently published in the journal around nurses and digital competency. Ceylon believes that all nursing staff need to have a minimum level of digital competency in order to provide care to patients effectively. Digital methods of providing healthcare can include direct nursing care through the use of remote observations, medication, caseload/bed management, and much more. It’s also important for nurses to be supported with competency in digital methods of care and service management as this will be effective over time.
