Staff and patients from our rehabilitation unit at St Pancras Hospital will be featuring in a BBC documentary this Wednesday about Covid-19. Called Surviving the Virus: My Brother & Me, the BBC1 documentary follows twins, Drs Xander and Chris Van Tulleken, on the NHS frontline at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Our part sees Xander, who himself fell seriously ill with Covid-19, talking with recovering patients about the symptoms they experienced, and with staff.
We are very thankful to staff for the time they gave up towards what will be an emotional piece of television - a far cry from the children's medical and science programme Operation Ouch, the show the twins are better known for.
The documentary will be on BBC1 at 9pm on Wednesday 5 August.
