Gift bags.jpgOur thanks to students from the Bridge Academy in Coffee Hall, Milton Keynes, who decided that staff from CNWL’s Neuro Clinical Specialist Team and Neuro Rehab Unit deserved a bit of pampering.

Each team member received a uniquely designed bag and a personal thank you note; each bag contained wine, chocolate, bath bombs and hand cream.

The note said: “Dear NHS workers. Thankyou very much for looking out and looking after all the people who have been ill. Not only have you all protected us but you have also put yourself in danger by doing all of this.

Thank you note.jpg“Thankyou all for your hard work and dedication. We are so grateful for everything you have done for us.

“From Bridge Academy.”

The bags came via the daughter of a friend of Multiple Sclerosis Specialist Nurse, Lesley Catterall.

Lesley said: “My friend's daughter is a teacher at Bridge Academy and the students wanted to thank NHS workers and asked me to distribute them amongst my colleagues so I have given them to members of Neuro Clinical Specialist Team and Neuro Rehab Unit.

“It was such a lovely surprise and absolutely touching. We still don’t feel we’ve done anything special or heroic – we’ve just done our jobs. We can only say thankyou to all the students for putting us in your thoughts.”
