Sophie Geen, CNWL’s Activity Coordinator has collated reflections and memories of Queen Elizabeth II from patients at St Pancras Rehabilitation Unit (SPRU).

Some of the tributes read:

"I went to the coronation; we were all lined up to see her and to see so many people was fantastic. Shoulder to shoulder, all holding the union jack flag.”

"Thank you for all you have done for our country and your service. You will be greatly missed.”

"I have an image of a strong person behind me and that is the image of her naturally behind us all".
