From Healthwatch Central West London

Time to Talk Day encourages everyone to be more open about mental health – to talk, to listen, to change lives.

Visit here for more information.

On 4 February the Voice Exchange will be hosting a ‘Living Library’ virtual event to commemorate Time to Talk Day. It works just like a normal library except instead of borrowing books you are borrowing people for a chat. We will be running the Living Library via Zoom between 1pm – 3pm exclusively for Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust staff members.

Each conversation lasts for up to 15 minutes and you will be in a zoom ‘room’ with your matched person. We hope to facilitate two-way learning during this event, so those with lived experience can share their insights and those with professional experience can share what they do in their roles.

Time slots available:

How it works

  1. You register to borrow a Voice Exchange member by emailing your preferred time to Laura.May@healthwatchcentralwestlondon.org by Friday 29 January 2021
  2. We will match you with a member of the group
  3. Laura from Healthwatch Central West London will email you confirmation of your booking time and a link to the Zoom meeting. Laura will send this to you by Tuesday 2 February, along with a question sheet to help get the conversation going
  4. You come along to the Zoom meeting on Thursday 4 February at your allotted time and you will be put into a ‘room’ with your matched person
  5. You have a great chat, learn lots, and so do our Voice Exchange members!
