Vanessa Odlin (pictured above) will join us in August

Vanessa Odlin is joining CNWL in August to head-up Hillingdon Mental Health and outer London Services and Trustwide Rehabilitation in our Goodall Division.

She currently works at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.

She said, “I trained as a mental health nurse, finishing in 2002 and have worked in the NHS ever since. I have worked across forensic mental health services and adult and older adult mental services with several years of leadership experience.  My passion is to help, support and make a difference in healthcare services in any way that I can; remembering that making a difference in people’s lives is why I work in the NHS.”

Graeme Caul, Goodall Managing Director, said, “I’m really pleased that Vanessa is joining us. This is a new role for the new NHS, combing mental health and community services, which brings real focus for services in Hillingdon, to build on our partnerships with Hillingdon Council, GPs, the voluntary sector, Brunel University and Hillingdon Hospital. Vanessa’s experiences and skills will also be valuable for mental health rehabilitation services across our London boroughs.”

Vanessa said, “I am looking forward to this new role and am looking forward to meeting everyone!”

Vanessa (40) lives in Buckinghamshire  – she is married with two children who are 12 and 7 years old. Hobbies include “running (taken up later in life) and a little bit of exercise and yoga when I can and re-learning to play the piano during lockdown.”
