CNWL's Improvement Academy recently welcomed the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) for their annual visit, celebrating seven years of Quality Improvement at CNWL and marking another significant milestone in the Trust's ongoing commitment to Quality Improvement (QI). During their time at the Trust, the IHI representatives engaged with senior leaders and staff members across the organisation, gaining valuable insights into CNWL’s strategic and current improvement priorities. The discussions served as a platform to reflect on the progress made in embedding a culture of continuous improvement and to identify opportunities for further development.

CNWL held its fifth annual Domestic Abuse conference on 8 December during the White Ribbon period (against violence against women and girls). We had the largest attendance yet peaking at over 600 in the audience. The event was chaired by the CNWL Domestic Abuse Lead, Susan Bray and supported by CNWL Domestic Abuse Prevention Co-ordinator Holly Thomas.

Last June (2023) we had the pleasure and privilege of hosting our inaugural Expert by Experience (EbE) celebration event. This event celebrated the work and involvement of our EbE colleagues and their time working with CNWL. Our aim at CNWL is to have 100% EbE involvement on all improvement projects; therefore, the work of our EbE colleagues is vital and deserves to be celebrated.
