The Annual CNWL Golf Day took place on Friday, hosted as in previous years at Hendon Golf Club in North London, and attended by staff from across the Trust and some of our external partners.  The weather was fine, the course in great condition, and the banter as lively and robust as always!  We are very grateful to Channel 3 for their sponsorship of the prizes for the day, and a huge thank you to Hendon Golf Club who provided all the players with free golf for the day, and a great spread for lunch.

We were also indebted to Richard Ford, who although now retired, continued to do sterling work in the background to organise and publicise the day – thank you Richard!

A really fun day was had by all – so much so in fact that some groups of players seemed determined to stay out on the course as long as the light held up!

TF Chan, our 2020 Champion, put up a stout defense of his title, but came up a little short finishing in fourth place.  In third place overall was Ross Fraser, with Jonathan James placing second, and our new, 2021 Champion is Peter Evelyn.  Ollie McLarty and Ian McDonald won prizes for being nearest the 9th and 13th holes respectively.  So congratulations Peter, and all of our other winners – a great day and hope to see you all back next year, with more friends and family!
