At CNWL, apprenticeships are helping colleagues build new careers, gain recognised qualifications and develop the skills that support patient care.

During National Apprenticeship Week, the Trust has been celebrating the achievements of its apprentices and the opportunities these programmes create.

In 2025, 67 apprentices successfully completed their programmes, with a large proportion achieving higher academic grades.

The Trust is also seeing continued progression, with several staff members applying to undertake higher-level apprenticeships this year.

Fiona Sullivan, Apprenticeship Manager at CNWL, said:
“Apprenticeships are about real skills, real opportunities, and real career progression. We are incredibly proud of our apprentices and the contribution they make across our services.”

During National Apprenticeship Week, we hosted a programme of apprenticeship-focused webinars, providing opportunities for staff to learn more about available pathways, hear from learners, and explore how apprenticeships can support career development.

Apprenticeships at CNWL provide colleagues with the opportunity to gain recognised qualifications, develop new skills, and progress in their careers while continuing to deliver high-quality care.
