CNWL has been placed in segment 1 of the NHS Oversight Framework (NOF) – the highest category in the system. Previously, we were in segment 2, so this marks a significant step forward for the Trust.

The NOF is a new way to measure and rank the performance of NHS trusts across the country. It shares information in key areas such as safety, access and efficiency.

Trusts are grouped into four segments based on performance and other factors, such as financial position. Segment 1 represents organisations with the narrowest range of challenges, while segment 4 includes those facing the most complex issues.

This segmentation places us 7th in the national table of non-acute trusts.

Moving up means CNWL is recognised as performing strongly across the board, reflecting the hard work and commitment of our teams.

Scores are reviewed quarterly, and you can explore the full NHS performance dashboard, which shows how trusts compare nationally.
