Dr David Erritzoe, Clinical Director of the CNWL-Imperial Psychopharmacology & Psychedelic Research Clinic (CIPPRes) and Senior Clinical Researcher at Imperial College London, has been awarded the prestigious President’s Award for Excellence in Research (Ethics, Culture, and Sustainability).
The President's Awards for Excellence in Research are annual awards to recognise staff members who have made outstanding contributions in early career research, research support, as part of a research team, and in research innovation and external collaboration. The Award celebrates individuals or groups whose initiatives and actions make a significant contribution to nurturing an inclusive, collaborative research environment, and promoting sustainable research practices within the institution.
“David stands out as an exceptional research leader who has created an outstanding environment for his team to thrive. Every day, he demonstrates genuine care for his researchers by making time to listen, guide, and support them, regardless of their career stage. He has transformed our team dynamics, creating a safe space where we can openly discuss challenges and collectively find solutions,” said one of David’s Research Associates.
“We are very proud of David’s achievement in winning this award. He has been pioneering research and innovative practice with CNWL through the CIPPRESS clinic and CIM-Ket, which represent a great collaboration between Imperial and the NHS. A warm congratulations from all of us at CNWL” commented Dr Gareth Jarvis, Medical Director of the Jameson Division at CNWL.
