As part of CNWL’s celebrations for Occupational Therapy Week 2025, the Harrow Occupational Therapy (OT) teams have proudly come together to share achievements, highlight success stories, and recognise the life-changing difference OTs make every day.

Throughout the week, staff have been reflecting on the essential role occupational therapists play in empowering independence, promoting wellbeing, and helping people live life to the fullest.

Liliana Mandal, Borough Lead Occupational Therapist for Harrow said:

“Occupational Therapy Week is a wonderful opportunity to recognise the dedication, creativity and compassion that sit at the heart of our profession. Every day, our OTs make a real difference — enabling people to build confidence, reach their potential, and take part in the everyday activities that matter most.

Occupational therapy is all about improving lives and making the ordinary truly extraordinary, and I’m so proud of the work our teams do across Harrow to support our communities.”

The celebrations have showcased how occupational therapy helps people of all ages overcome challenges, adapt to change, and achieve greater independence — reminding everyone that OT really does change lives.
