CNWL was out and proud at the London Pride Parade, led by our Chief Executive, Claire Murdoch, and Chief Operating Officer and Executive Sponsor of the Pride@CNWL Network, Graeme Caul. They were joined by Managing Directors Sabrina Phillips and Mark Maguire, walking side-by-side with staff and supporters to celebrate equality, visibility, and solidarity.

Bringing extra energy to the day was Kevin McPeake — Deputy Service Director for Sexual Health Services — he took on DJ duties, keeping the crowd and staff dancing.

For many, it was more than just a celebration, but an emotional and empowering experience. Nikki Hayden, Co-Chair of CNWL's LGBT+ Network, shared:

“Visibility matters. When people see themselves reflected—in therapists, in services, in leadership—it tells them they are not alone or broken. That’s why I am open about being transgender, even when it is difficult. Marching in my first London Pride Parade as co-chair and trans lead of Pride@CNWL was emotional and affirming; I felt visible again. Thank you to everyone who showed up in support, especially Claire, Graeme, and other CNWL senior leaders.”

Graeme Caul also reflected on the significance of the day:

“Fifty-six years since Stonewall, and it’s been a challenging journey; let’s remember those struggles and know we’re stronger together.”

We hope everyone who attended had a Happy Pride! Keep an eye out for CNWL at upcoming Pride events in Milton Keynes, Surrey, and Trans Pride this summer.
