At the going down of the sun,
and in the morning,
we will remember them.

This year’s Remembrance Sunday will be marked on 9 November, with Armistice Day on Tuesday 11 November 2025.

CNWL will mark Armistice Day with a two-minute silence at 11am at our Trust Headquarters.

We will remember the Armed Forces, and their families, from Britain and the Commonwealth, the vital role played by the emergency services and those who have lost their lives as a result of conflict or terrorism.

We encourage everyone to gather locally, uniting with others across the UK to remember and reflect.

Supporting the Armed Forces community

Remembering can be hard. Those who have served in the UK Armed Forces, and live in England, can contact Op COURAGE for support with their mental health.

CNWL is proud to be accredited as a Veteran Aware organisation. Our dedicated webpage includes details of organisations and charities that deliver a variety of support services.

CNWL Armed Forces roadshow

Our Armed Forces champions have been out and about ahead of Remembrance 2025. Staff can learn more about support services for the Armed Forces community and sign up for training opportunities.
