We accept referrals for local patients from the North West Sector Consortium, which includes Brent, Harrow, Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster, Hounslow, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, and Hillingdon.

Process for local patient referrals

  • GPs from the boroughs of Hounslow and Ealing should in the first instance refer to the West London Eating Disorder Service, and patients of BMI less than 16 can then be referred to Vincent Square Eating Disorder Service as per service agreement.
  • GPs from the boroughs of Brent, Hillingdon, Harrow, Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith & Fulham and Westminster can refer directly to the Vincent Square Eating Disorder Service.
  • The GP forwards a completed service referral form, presenting the problem/ suggested eating disorder symptoms, the patient's body mass index (BMI) including recent weight changes and a brief history to the Vincent Square Eating Disorder Service. 
  • Once the patient has been assessed, a decision will be made regarding the best care for the patient.
